The paper reviews the origin and development process of the consumer creditworthiness investigation service in the United States, places emphasis on describing the operation model of the consumer creditworthiness investigation service companies in the States, and summarizes the features of the business operation of the consumer creditworthiness investigation service companies in the States. These are of important value of reference for establishing and improving China's individual credit system.
