On August 28, Vice President Han Jun met with a Tanzanian delegation, which was lead by Mr. Stephen Masato Wasira, the State Minister of Tanzania. Vice President Han introduced China’s achievements and experiences in rural development and poverty alleveation. Both sides also exchanged views on Sino-African agricultural cooperation. Mr. Xu Xiaoqing, Director General of the Research Department of Rural Economy, Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department, and Mr. He Yupeng, Deputy Director General of the Research Department of Rural Economy, were present at the meeting.
