The Research Department of Social Development of the Development Research Center of the State Council and the British Embassy in China jointly held the seminar on "Reforming China's Public Hospital Financing and Doctors' Pay", in Beijing on July 23, 2013.

Zhang Laiming, vice-minister of the DRC, and Sebastian Wood, Britain's ambassador to China, gave speeches, and those attending included representatives and experts from hospitals and government bureaus.
