China Development Forum 2013，which is sponsored by DRC, was held on March 23-25, 2013 at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. The subject of the forum is “China: to Deepen Reform and Opening-up for a Well-off Society”. Around 350 overseas delegates attending the event included Dr. Henry Kissinger, WTO Secretary-General Pascal Lamy, the Co-Chair of the Forum, President of Siemens Mr. Peter Löscher, Nobel laureates in economics Prof. Joseph Stiglitz and Prof. Michael Spence and other leaders from international organizations, multinational companies and the academia Chinese senior officials, business leaders and renowned scholars totaling around 350 also participated in the conference. The delegates had an in-depth discussion on a wide range of topics related to the targets and policies for a well-off society, reform measures and further opening-up strategies.
