From November 27 to December, 2012, at the invitation of Lao-China Joint Cooperation Commission, Cambodian Ministry of Economy and Finance and Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development of Myanmar, DRC delegation headed by President Li Wei visited Lao, Cambodia and Myanmar to discuss bilateral cooperation on trade and investment in order to further strengthen the economic and investment ties with the three countries. Minister Li met with Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad, Vice Premier of Lao, Mr. Keat Chhon, Vice President and Finance Minister of Cambodia, and ministers of Lao’s Ministry of Planning and Investment, Industry and Commerce, Cambodian Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Agriculture and Myanmar’s Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development and Ministry of Agriculture. Minister Li also had workshops with Chinese enterprises invested in these three countries and had field visits to some enterprises. Ms. Sun Lanlan, Director General of International Cooperation Department, Mr. Long Guoqiang, Director General of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations and Mr. Cheng Guoqiang, Deputy Director General of the DRC General Office were on the delegation.
