At the invitation of the State Equity Bureau of French Ministry of Finance and the Ownership Regulatory Bureau of Finish Prime Minister’s Office, DRC Delegation led by Vice President Hou Yunchun visited France and Finland from March 25 to April 4. During its visit in France, the Delegation had meetings with the Economic Analysis Council of French Prime Minister’s Office, the State Equity Bureau of French Ministry of Finance, French Telcom, French Power and French Railways to discuss the policies and practices of SOE management and corporate governance in France. The delegation also visited OECD headquarters and some of the members attended the OECD working meetings. During their stay in Finland, the delegation had meetings with the Ownership Regulatory Bureau of Finish Prime Minister’s Office, Finish Grid, Finish Railways and Finish Airlines to deepen their understanding of ownership policies of the SOEs and the situation in the corporate governance of the SOEs in the typical industry in Finland. The delegation members included Mr. Zhao Changwen, Director General of DRC’s Institute of Enterprise Research (IER), Mr. Zhang Zhengjun, Senior Research Fellow of IER, Mr. Jia Tao, Senior Research Associate of IER, Mr Wang Hui, Division Director of DRC’s General Office and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Program Officer of DRC’s International Cooperation Department.
