On October 18th, Vice President Liu Shijin met with Mr. Patrick Devedjian, French Minister in charge of the economic stimulus plan and French Ambassador Mr. Hervé Ladsous. President Liu reviewed the economic performance in China since the global financial crisis and introduced the developments and changes in China’s macroeconomic policies. Both sides also exchanged views on issues of common concern including the world economic prospects. Mr. Yu Bin, Director General of the Research Department of Macro-economy and Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department, were present at the meeting.
