On July 22, Mr. Hou Yunchun, Vice President of DRC, met with a delegation of American Chamber of Commerce-China, headed by its President Mr. Michael Barbalas. Mr. Barbalas briefly introduced the activities of his organization and its member companies in China, and shared his views on China-US trade and economic relations over the past 30 years and the prospects for the years to come. Mr. Hou briefed the guests on the current macroeconomic performance in China and exchanged his ideas with the guests on the future cooperation opportunities between DRC and American Chamber of Commerce-China. Mr. Zhang Xiaoji, Senior Research Fellow of Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations, Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department, Mr. Wang Hui, Division Director of General Office, and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Program Officer of International Cooperation Department, were present at the meeting.
