On May 20, DRC President Zhang Yutai met with Mr. David Shambaugh, Director of China Policy Program, Elliott School of International Affairs of the George Washington University, and his delegation composed of the China experts from the United States. President Zhang briefed the delegation on the current situation in the economic development and industrial restructuring in China. Those present at the meeting were Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of DRC’s International Cooperation Department, Dr. Zhang Xiaoji, Director General of Department of Foreign Economic Relations, Mr. Zhang Junkuo, Director General of Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy, Mr. Yu Bin, Director General of Department of Macroeconomic Research, Mme. Ren Xingzhou, Director General of DRC’s Institute of Market Economy, and Ms. Zhang Chenghui, Deputy Director General of DRC’s Institute of Finance.
