On March 2, Mr. Hou Yunchun, DRC Vice President, met with an OECD delegation headed by Ms. Thelma Askey, Deputy Secretary-General. The two sides exchanged views on the impacts of the ongoing financial crisis on the world economy, particularly on the Chinese economy as well as issues of enhancing the bilateral cooperation between DRC and OECD. Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General, and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Program Officer of DRC's International Cooperation Department of DRC, were present at the meeting.
