On January 10, DRC Vice President Li Jiange met with Mr. Jerry Steiner, Executive Vice President of Monsanto Company and his delegation from the United States. Vice President Li exchanged views with the guests on biotechnology and agricultural development, policy research and international cooperation on the application of bio-technologies. Mr. Han Jun, Director General, and Mr. Xu Xiaoqing, Deputy Director General of DRC’s Research Department of Rural Economy, and Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department, attended the meeting.
