On March 20th, Mr. Liu Shijin, Vice President of DRC met with a Kenyan delegation headed by Mr. Musikari N. Kombo, Minister for Local Government. The two sides exchanged views on Sino-African cooperation, overseas investment of Chinese enterprises, trade protectionism and potential cooperation between DRC and related research institutions in Kenya. Mr. Hou Yongzhi, Deputy Director General of Development Strategy and Regional Economy of DRC and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Program Officer of DRC’s International Cooperation Department, and the Economic Counsellor of Kenyan Embassy in China were also present at the meeting.
