A singing competition was jointly held by the Dehong Women's Federation and the Federation of Trade Unions on March 4 to celebrate International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8.

The Prefecture Medical Group and the Changqin Singing Group topped the 14 teams that participated in the competition.

Li Yanlan, Chairperson of the Dehong Women’s Federation, conveyed her congratulations to women of all circles in Dehong.

She addressed the competition by saying that, under the correct leadership of the Dehong government, the women of Dehong have made the most of their wisdom and talents in creating and innovating things.

Li also called on women’s federations at all levels to act as a bridge between the government and the women of China, leading the women of all circles to throw themselves into the construction of the Qiao Toubao Golden Coast.

Li also expressed her hope that the Dehong women should make more contributions to the establishment of Dehong, making it a prosperous and harmonious socialist new frontier.
