The first "Hougu Cup" weiqi game will be held from October 1 to 3 in Ruili, Dehong.

Weiqi refers to a game played with black and white pieces on a board of 361 crosses.

The game will be organized just at the time of the tenth Sino-Burmese Baobo Carnival and the third International Jewelry Cultural Festival.

Forty contestants from eight teams will compete at this game, the highest profile and broadest range ever in Dehong. Preparations are being made in good order.
