Daming Palace was built in AD 635 and was originally named Yong'an Palace (Daming Palace Stone Map by Lv Dafang in Song Dynasty)
Daming Palace was renovated in the Tang dynasty 28 years later in AD 662.
Daming Palace becomes the most splendid ancient Chinese palace cluster, where 17 emperors dealt with State affairs.
In AD 904, war broke out in the last years of Tang dynasty and the Daming Palace was destroyed in the war. After this, Luoyang moved to the new capital.
In AD 1907, a Japanese visitor took a picture at Daming Palace Relics Site.
