Supreme Daming Palace-What to See in Xi'an Daming Palace

1) International Relics Research Centre

It presents Daming Palace's historical development, and lets us know more about Tang Dynasty's history and Tang people's daily lives.

2) Three Movies

"Daming Palace Legend" is filmed by the photography crew of the IMAX movie "Avatar".

"Daming Palace" is an epic documentary; which premiered at the General Headquarters of the United Nations.

"From Palace to Garden" is a huge arc-screen movie that is being showed at the 2010 Expo.

3) Nine Focuses

First antique and archeological museum in the world.

First IMAX 3D cinema in northwest China.

First Tang clothes fashion show in China.

First carnival along the Silk Road in China.

4) Two Spots

The first Site is Taiye Pool; Penglai isle is at the center of the pool. Trees surrounding the pool and on the isle reflect on the river, impressing visitors with beautiful aquamarine scenery.

Another site is Xi'an Daming Palace Pavilion at 2010 Expo, which represents Xi'an's cultural charm and becomes a platform to communicate with the world about the field of cultural heritage preservation.

5) Four Performances

Ballet "Love in Daming Palace" tells the legendary lives of Wu Zetian (the only female emperor in Chinese history) and Yang Yuhuan (emperor Xuanzong's favorite concubine).

Tang clothes fashion show "Sun and Moon in Daming Palace" presents one day in the life of female Empror Wu Zetian in Daming Palace.

Large-scale historical play "Qin Emperor Musters Troops" allows viewers to experience a spectacular ancient battlefield scene.

Large-scale Floats parade "Prosperous Tang Dynasty" is an unprecedented event showing a scene of the emperor reviewing troops.

6) Twenty Museums

Central Museum, Dangfeng Gate Museum, Hanyuan Hall Museum, Linde Hall Museum, Sanqing Hall Museum, Hanliang Hall Museum, Hanlin Academy Museum, Palace Wall Museum, Taiye Pool Museum, Xuanwu Gate Museum, Modern Industry Museum, Daobei Gallery, Silk Road Museum, Tang Clothing Museum, Kiln Site Museum, and Railway Museum.
