By the invitation of the united union, "Sun and Moon in Daming Palace" Fashion Show was on display as part of "Sound of Harmony" show in Barcelona on July 8th.
With silks, satins and embroideries on them, the models were elegant and as graceful as imperial concubines, palace maids and lady officials, who once lived the Daming Palace, an imperial palace in the Tang dynasty (AD 618-907).
Their performances were accompanied with musical instruments, such as lutes, gongs, drums and Er-hus.
UN vice general secretary Sha ZuKang expressed his willingness to visit Xi’an and Daming Palace National Heritage Park after he enjoyed the show, which also impressed 100 over other people in the audience.
"Sun and Moon in Daming Palace", designed and produced by the managing committee of Daming Palace National Heritage Park, went on international show from the end of 2009, and it will be staged at the Daming Palace National Heritage Park when the park opens this October. The latter was built on the heritage site of the ancient Daming Palace.
Later on, "Sun and Moon in Daming Palace" will participate the "Fashion of Six Dynasties" road show at the Kennedy Art Center, America which is jointly organized by the China Federation of Literary & Art Circles and North America Federation of Literary & Art Circles.
