8 May 2014 – The International Trademark Association (INTA), a global association of trademark owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property, will hold its first annual meeting in Asia on 10-14 May 2014.
The 136th INTA Annual Meeting will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and will welcome in-house and outside counsel as well as trademark professionals, government officials and intellectual property (IP) service providers from around the world, to discuss trademark industry developments.
In recognition of the importance of the event for the region, a reception for delegates will be organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Intellectual Property Department of the HKSAR Government on 10 May 2014 (Saturday). The gathering of IP professionals from around the globe is meant to offer networking opportunities, and reflects Hong Kong’s growing international profile in trademark and IP services.
