A donation of public legal information brochures for juveniles was held in a primary school of Ezhou in Central China’s Hubei province on April 7.
One thousand brochures and a set of posters on laws pertaining to juveniles were donated to the students at the school. The students also signed their names on a scroll, making a vow to abide by the law.
At the end of the ceremony, a lawyer was present to give a lecture on legal matters and said he hoped that all the students will observe law and official discipline.
Zhang Zhen, head of the commission for political and legal affairs of the municipal Party committee said that teenagers, the primary target of legal education, should study and abide by the law. Schools and teachers, he added, as providers of legal education should innovate the forms of legal publicity.
