Counterfeit fire safety products destroyed in Northeast China

The fire safety department of Shenyang, capital of Northeast China's Liaoning province held an event to destroy counterfeit fire products on March 13 in recognition of International Consumer Rights Day.

The general fire brigade from Liaoning province destroyed more than 7,000 pieces of unauthorized fire equipment including extinguishers, water hoses, emergency lights, evacuation signage, fireproof doors and fire retardant coating.

Officials from many departments in Liaoning province such as the public security department, the quality supervision bureau and the industrial and commercial bureau attended, as did representatives from about 150 fire equipment production, sales, maintenance and usage enterprises.
