Shenzhen Customs has destroyed a huge smuggling gang based in Beijing, Shenzhen and Shantou which dealt in daily necessities including amber and lithium batteries.
It seized 57 criminal suspects, six tons of raw amber items and 620,000 lithium batteries worth more that 227 million yuan ($33.5 million).
