Changsha county people’s procuratorate and court celebrate Constitution Day

To celebrate China's first Constitution Day and the 32nd anniversary of the current edition of China’s Constitution, over 100 prosecutors of Changsha county people’s procuratorate and all members of the people’s court swore allegiance to the Constitution on December 4, 2014.

Changsha county people’s procuratorate and court celebrate Constitution Day

The people’s court of Changsha county accepted more than 8,000 cases, and solved over 7,000 cases this year. The number of both accepted and solved cases increased dramatically and hit a historic high.

Meanwhile, the quality of case handling has also been significantly improved. In two opinion polls in Hunan province conducted in the first and second half of the year, the court ranked first among other courts in Changsha city.

The National Constitution Day was approved at the 11th meeting of the 12th NPC Standing Committee on Nov 11, 2014.
