Wenjiang teaches seniors about health

Hesheng town, Wenjiang district held a health lecture on Feb 12 to spread health knowledge and improve the health of senior citizens.
Health workers discussed the H1Nq influenza, which broke out during the Spring Festival holiday, and instructed senior citizens to stay healthy with a balanced diet, physical exercise, plenty of sleep, and appropriate medical treatment.
Seniors voiced their health concerns and learned about medical treatment during the lecture.
Healthcare broachers were handed out and free blood pressure and blood sugar tests were offered during the lecture. Tips were given on how to prevent common diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia.
Hesheng town hopes to give seniors a scientific knowledge of health preservation and help them develop a healthy lifestyle.
