The district will create a fair and transparent market environment, a convenient and efficient administrative environment, and a just and orderly legal environment.
Moreover, a number of outstanding private enterprises, entrepreneurs, and advanced work units received awards for their contributions to the development of the private sector.
Wenjiang has been listed as one of China's top 100 best districts for seven consecutive years, and one of Sichuan's top 10 districts for 21 consecutive years.
These achievements have been greatly attributed to the strength of its private sector. Statistics show that private enterprises account for 97.8 percent of the district's market entities, 65.7 percent of its fixed asset investment and 48.9 percent of its GDP.
Also, 95.7 percent of the district's hi-tech enterprises are private, and their research investments account for 71.6 percent of the district's total.
