Meanwhile, villagers spontaneously raised the idea of "Xingfu points" to encourage people accumulating points through moral behavior in order to maintain the village's beautiful environment and harmonious atmosphere.

Xingfu village then started up a tourism resource development company with external capital to utilize available construction lands to attract investments and build various leisure tourism projects.

The Xingfu Tianyuan project ended its second phase in January of 2016 and is now calling for bids of hotels and other facilities. The project is highlighted with a train theme experience park, which consists of three old-fashioned train wagons serving as a restaurant, an entertainment center, a teahouse and a hostel.

According to Guo, the project brings the villagers the four income sources of horticultural business, house rentals, tourism employment and shares of collective commercial buildings. In 2017, the annual income per capital of the villagers reached 27,000 yuan, which is an impressive number compared with ten years ago.

During the past ten years, Xingfu village explored a successful way of rural revitalization. It was rated as a tourism model village of China, most beautiful leisure country of China and among the ten most beautiful countrysides of Sichuan. The villagers will persist with sustainable development and economic construction in the future.
