Equestrian gala comes to Wenjiang

The Seventh China Equestrian Festival will be held on Nov 10-12 at the Jinma International Equestrian Sports Park in the Wenjiang district of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province.

Sponsored by the General Administration of the Sports and Chinese Equestrian Association, the China Equestrian Festival will be the first national equestrian event that combines high-ranking competitions, horse-themed exhibitions, and cultural tourism in a city located in the central and western part of China.

Athletes and their horses from home and abroad will take part in the various competitions, including dressage, jumping and racing.

Cultural activities will be held during the event, such as a poster design game, lectures on equestrian sports and some public welfare events.

Serving as a platform to exchange ideas for domestic and foreign athletes and enthusiasts, this year's event is expected to continue to boost the development of equestrian sports and enrich the sports and leisure industry overall in Wenjiang district.
