Experts discuss medicine industry in Wenjiang

The 19th national seminar for the development of the medicine industry was held in Wenjiang district, Chengdu, on Oct 11-14.
Some 300 experts, academics and representatives from pharmaceutical companies and institutions gathered to share their views on innovation and the development of the country's pharmaceutical industry.
Participants also visited Chengdu Medical City during the event, learning about its achievements in integrating the district's medical science, treatment and production, a process which began in 2015.
Chengdu Medical City plans to become an international hub for the health industry over the next 10 years, further promoting the development of the industry in Chengdu and Sichuan province as a whole.
