Chengdu holds horticulture transboundary trading forum

Held by the Chengdu Municipal Government and Chengdu Wenjiang District Government, the Horticulture of China “B&R initiative” Transboundary Trading Forum was held in Chengdu’s Wenjiang district on May 11.

Guests from the China Flower Association, Chinese International Electronic Commerce Center, horticulture industry and internet specialists, domestic and international enterprise representatives and related departments from Chengdu attended the forum. The China Horticulture Industry Transboundary Trading Platform was launched at the forum to promote the fusion of online and real economies in facilitating the export of local horticulture.

With a 13,333 hectare horticulture planting area and a total export value of 12.8 million yuan ($1.9 million), the Wenjiang district will continue to expand its international markets with the help of the forum and other online platforms.
