Location: No 9 Jiangyuangongsuo Street in Qingyang district
Ticket: free
The Sichuan Han Dynasty Terracotta Art Museum is the first privately owned museum in Sichuan that has opened to the public free of charge.
The museum collects terracotta sculptures depicting Sichuan people’s daily lives in Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220). The two most precious treasures of the museum are a pair of 120-centimeter-tall terracotta horses and a bronze sculpture of three phoenixes flying towards the sun. At the end of phoenixes’ tails there are hanging hundreds of antique coins.
