With a registered capital of 15.9 million yuan ($2.56 million) and an area of 40,000 square meters), Sichuan Xinlvsheng Biological Engineering & Technology Co specializes in controlling pollution from livestock and poultry farming and producing bio-organic fertilizer, a new type of environmentally-friendly fertilizer made from pollutants to curb soil pollution. Combining raw materials like fowl, duck, pig manure and cow dung with straw, fungi residue, Chinese medicine residue and other organic waste, the company adopts high-speed trench-type microorganism fungi decomposition fermentation and mechanical processing techniques, which can remove pathogenic bacteria, ova, toxic compounds and odor from manure. The process can also quickly degrade manure and other organic waste to produce bio-organic and compound microorganism fertilizer.

At present, projects under construction include a livestock manure bio-safety processing center with an annual processing capacity of 200,000 cubic meters and a bio-organic fertilizer plant with an annual production of 100,000 tons. With an investment of 15 million yuan, the company has set up workshops and warehouses covering 11,897 square meters, office and living facilities covering 1,528 square meters, and an afforested area of 13,000 square meters. In addition, a complete sewage treatment system and a level-IV ecological pool have been established to ensure no domestic sewage discharge.
