Chengdu releases mobile service platform for patients

Chengdu Fifth People’s Hospital held a ceremony on Aug 2 to mark the release of a public mobile service platform. The mobile app will allow patients to book appointments, pay hospital bills, get medical advice and checking medical examination reports.

He Min, deputy district mayor of Wenjiang, explained at the opening ceremony that the platform was an integration of advanced technology and traditional medical services. She also encouraged the hospital to provide more convenient and qualified services to the patients.

Volunteers were also at the spot to help people get to the platform. People can connect to the platform on their phone and get access to online services.
