2. Piluo Lake Park

Piluo Lake Park is a popular spot for catching some shade in Wenjiang. Every night after seven o’clock, the place is packed with people exercising, square dancing and walking their dogs.

“The park is clean and cool, and I and my husband like to sit on the stone stairs every night after supper,” said Jin Zhenmei, an elderly woman in her seventies.

The park has many shaded areas and a lake, where people can find some quiet.
