Summer camp offers international students chance to learn traditional Chinese culture

Overseas students arrived at Tianfu Street Community in Wenjiang district on July 26 to take part in an International Culture Exchange Summer Camp.
Eight students from India, Malaysia, Belgium and Russia introduced themselves during the camp’s opening ceremony and two Russian students performed a traditional dance.
The five-day camp gave participants the opportunity to establish deep and meaningful communications with locals and foreigners. They also got the chance to sample traditional Chinese culture by learning Sichuan Opera, martial arts and Chinese painting.
The event was designed to help Chinese students learn more about the world and learn other languages.
