Chengdu Quality Rice Exhibition held in Wenjiang

The second Chengdu Quality Rice Exhibition was held in Wanchun county, Wenjiang district on Oct 18.

Over 200 representatives from agricultural authorities of the districts, family farms, farmers' cooperatives and rice breeding organizations attended.

A panel of judges from educational institutions, companies and rice growers graded the rice samples on their quality and awarded the first, second and third prizes based on national standards.

The exhibition was sponsored by the Chengdu Agriculture Commission and organized by the Wenjiang Agriculture Development Bureau, Wanchun Village, and the Chengdu Seeds Association.

Xu Xingguo, director of the Chengdu Agriculture Commission, and Zhao Yigui, deputy director of Wenjiang district visited the exhibition.
