NBA star Dwyane Wade tours Chengdu

NBA club Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade arrived in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province on July 22, starting his China tour.

Wade visited the Chengdu Sport University and met some young basketball enthusiasts. The participants were all secondary school students from Chengdu and neighboring counties, who were selected after a competitive selection process.

Wade played basketball with the young student players, taught them some skills and coached them in a practice game. After the training, Wade praised the students’ basic skills and their passion for basketball.

The NBA basketball star ended his visit to the Chengdu Sport University with a bite of hotpot, Chengdu’s trademark dish, “to better experience life in Chengdu”, according to his agents.
