Wenjiang university students compete in basketball

The first Wenjiang University Basketball Association Tournament was held at the Chengdu Normal College gymnasium on May 22-24.

Eleven basketball teams, including four women’s teams, from nine universities and colleges located in the Wenjiang district in Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan province took part in the game.

The Sichuan Vocational and Technical College of Communications won the title in men’s category while the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics ranked first in women’s category.

Performances by the Chengdu Normal College’s 20-member cheergirls squad spiced up the tournament.
