Wenjiang students have fun in rope jumping contest

The Fourth Wenjiang Jump Rope Contest was held in Wenjiang district in Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan province on May 14. More than 1,000 students from 24 schools within the district took part in the contest.

It consisted of four competitions: basic rope jumping, tandem rope jumping, 3 minutes- group jumping and 1 minute-group speed jumping.

After three hours of fierce competition, Zhenzi Primary School won the first prize in the primary schools category and the Wenjiang High School ranked first in the secondary schools section.

The jump rope contest, an activity conducive to enriching students’ spare time and helping them develop a habit of doing regular entertaining exercises, was organized by Wenjiang bureau of education and bureau of sports.
