Race horses arrive in Wenjiang

Fifty race horses arrived at Jinma International Equestrian Sports Center in Wenjiang district in Chengdu, Sichuan province, on March 26, ahead of the approaching Chengdu Dubai International Cup on April 3.

The horses traveled by air for six hours from the Dubai Racing Club. After arrival, they went through strict quarantine, examination and disinfection procedures before being transported to the sports center.

The second Chengdu Dubai International Cup Wenjiang-Meydan Classic will open in Wenjiang on April 3. The game is jointly organized by the Emirate Racing Authority and the Chengdu government. Twelve world leading jockeys from the Dubai Racing Club will take part in the annual equestrian event.
