A civil aircraft arrived at the Extra-weekend Square in Wenjiang, Chengdu, Sichuan province on Sept 11. The plane was transported from Xichang, one of the biggest space fields in China, and will be placed on the square as a part of the "professional experience project" there.
According to Jiang Jiacheng, vice-president of the Extra-weekend Square, it is a complex of commerce, entertainment, culture and education. The most outstanding feature here is the professional experience project designed for children from 3 to 13 years old, where they can experience nearly 70 different professions, such as those of pilots, doctors, and firemen.
The plane recently arriving is for the experience area of pilots’ professional lives. It is projected to be open to the public in April 2015 after assembly and decoration.
