A "2014 Intercultural Communication Summer Camp", organized by the Wenjiang education bureau, opened in Wenjiang on July 28.
College student volunteers from Mexico, Portugal, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Serbia came to Wenjiang to take part in the summer camp, together with more than 50 students from Wenjiang's Experimental High School.
The summer camp will last for five days, during which participants will experience and better understand Chinese culture as well as foreign cultures. Chinese students will show foreign friends Chinese traditional paintings, Chuanju Opera, and martial arts, while foreign volunteers will share with participants the unique customs, history, languages, and special local products of their countries.
