In Taiwan, the Aurora Group has been honored with the Good Design Product Award and Taiwan Excellence Award.

In the Chinese mainland, the firm has earned recognition as a “China Famous Trademark”, “High New Technology Enterprise”, and “National Top 10 Efficiency”status.

It also won the 2012 IDEA International Outstanding Design Silver Award in the US, IF Design Award in Germany, and the Red Star Design Award and China Design Awards.

Chen said “Business attainment” is to give back to society. Thus, Chen has also dedicated himself to public welfare service. He devotes himself to preservation of antiquities, donation of materials, education and culture, and emergency relief.

Since 2009, the group has sponsored the Xinhua Compassion Education Foundation to help excellent students from poverty-stricken families finish high-school education. The group, under Chen’s guidance, also takes responsibility for protecting and promoting ancient Chinese cultural relics.

In 2003, Chen established the AURORA Museum and appointed a team of professional researchers to work with the Beijing University to set up the AURORA Ancient Civilization Research Center. They formed a complete research model for ancient objects and shared research results in essays and exhibitions, and eventually achieved the goal of restoring ancient relics as cultural and material evidence of history.

In 2005, Chen established the Shanghai Aurora Museum to display ancient Chinese cultural relics.

In 2010, Aurora participated in the World Expo Shanghai under the theme “New City Styles Interpreted by Chinese Jade Culture”, becoming the first Taiwan corporate to build a pavilion for exhibition in the expo over 160 years.

In 2012, international master architect Tadao Ando was invited to design the Aurora Museum in Shanghai. The museum is renowned as a blue cultural treasure chest on the banks of the Huangpu River.
