Prospects: Su believes market demand comes from population growth. As the population grows larger and the living standards get higher, people need healthier food, alternative energy resources and effective safety measures. DuPont is finding solutions for changing needs. 85 percent of its R&D resources seek sustainable solutions for new market needs.
Su holds a vision for the Chinese market. He said DuPont has noticed four developing trends: food supply and food security; environmental protection; building a harmonious society that benefits more regions and people; and changing structure of population to upgrade labor force quality and hire more talented personnel.
