Baidu, a leader in the Chinese search engine market, launched its specific forum in medication, an important area where Baidu has put great efforts, to the company announced at the 2015 Baidu World Conference in Beijing.

Baidu president Zhang Yaqin announced the “Medication plus Internet Ecological System League” during the forum. The company aims to provide smarter personalized services to Internet users through the league.

Zhang said that the company will open its user data base to the members of the league. The company hopes to establish a modern medication system relying on its advantages in big data and technology. The online service system will satisfy the medical needs of Internet users.

Baidu launched a strategy of connecting 3,600 industries. At the beginning of the year, the company launched an online two-way platform called “Baidu Doctor” through which every Internet user will be able to find the most suitable doctor based.

“Baidu Doctor” has covered nearly 2,000 hospitals with more than 130,000 doctors providing online services. More than 20,000 users make reservations online everyday. It is estimated that “Baidu Doctor” will become the largest hospital registration platform in the country by the end of the year.

The new league will include members from many industries, such as hospital registration, financial securities, pharmaceutical engineering, portable health devices, health services, hospital systems, hardware services, operational carriers, and the Internet.
