Chinese Internet company Xunlei announced that the company will cooperate with Qihoo 360 in the launch of a new browser product, which will integrate Xunlei's cloud acceleration download engine and Qihoo 360's security features.

This new product will be officially launched by the end of this month. By using this new edition Qihoo 360 browser, users will be able to enjoy a cloud acceleration download function provided by Xunlei.

Xunlei is reportedly building a cloud acceleration open platform, hoping to make cloud acceleration a basic service on the Internet and open the service to more partners.

So far, Xunlei's cloud acceleration download engine has been applied to its various product lines, including mobile Xunlei, offline downloads, high-speed channels, and online game acceleration. The company also provides its cloud acceleration download engine to terminal manufacturers, terminal solution providers, content providers and developers via its API.
