About 200 scientific research institutes, enterprises and public institutes are taking part in the 7th Beijing – Italy Week for Science, Technology, Economy and Culture which started on Nov 14.

The event includes seminars, roundtable discussions, exhibitions and business-to-business exchanges.

Representatives of the Chemistry and Materials Research Institute of the Italian National Research Council, [International Relations Department and the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development delivered keynote speeches.

The event is sponsored by the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park, the Italian Ministry of Science and Education, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and also the country's Ministry of Economic Development, and it is hosted by the Beijing Science and Technology Consulting Center and Italy's IDIS Foundation.
