Fengtai Science and Technology Park – a part of Zhongguancun Science Park - recently hosted a gathering of Chinese overseas returnees at Lvdi Park, with the aim of promoting cooperation and exchanges and helping the returnees to develop their companies. 

Participants included managers of Fengtai Park, representatives of the Gazella Fund – an organization that funds small and medium sized high-tech companies in Zhongguancun - and also representatives of 7 enterprises started by returnees.

The returnees gave a brief presentation of their companies and then held discussions concerning how to strike a balance between a company’s initial business planning and its long-term development planning, and how to develop a labor-intensive technology company.

Participants said that the event was very useful, as it offered them the opportunity to learn from the experience of others, helped broaden their horizons and gave them inspiration on how to run their companies in a more sustainable way. They also said they hope Fengtai Park will organize more such gatherings.
