He Wei, a partner at King & Wood Mallesons, specializes in litigation, international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
She has represented domestic and foreign clients in over 200 litigations and arbitrations related to copyright, domain name, trademark, patent, technology transfer, joint venture, and international trade disputes.
She has participated in arbitrations at the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), ICC International Court of Arbitration, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC).
She also represents domestic and foreign clients in intellectual property litigation cases before the court. Her clients include domestic and international enterprises, import and export companies, foreign-invested enterprises and large State-owned corporations.
He Wei joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2002. Before joining the firm, she worked with the China-Britain Business Council, the CIETAC and the China National Machine Tool Corporation.
She received her Bachelor of Laws from the Southwest University of Political Science and Law, her Master of Laws from the University of Essex, and a graduate degree in English law from Anglia Polytechnic University. She is an arbitrator at the CIETAC and a mediator at the Conciliation Centre of the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC). She is also a member of the Chartered Institute to Arbitrators.
