The China Intel Internet-of -Things (IOT) Technology Research Institution has officially begun operation, according to Intel China on Nov 28.
The institute has been jointly established by the Beijing municipal government, Intel, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The three parties plan to invest 200 million yuan in the institute within five years.
The institute will focus on research into distributed IOT cloud computing system architecture, IOT abundant data management and analysis software architecture, IOT data analysis technology and data service innovation, and IOT information security architecture and sta ndardization.
Currently, the institute has initiated a series of resear ch programs concerning intelligent business and intelligent transporta tion and will explore other classic IOT applications in safe city, int elligent agriculture, intelligent grid, and intelligent building. |
