The Greater London Investment Promotional Conference Zhongguancun Session was held on April 20 in Yuhui Mansion, Zhongguancun Science Park. It was co-hosted by the Administrative Committee of the Zhongguancun Science Park and London & Partners, the official promotional organization for London. Fifteen enterprises with an eye on the English and European markets participated.

London & Partners is a non-profit institution that is responsible for promoting investment, tourism and education in the Greater London region to all over the world.

During the session, Gordon Innes, director of London & Partners, introduced the basic information of London's investment environment and invited participants to watch videos of the East London Tech City. He also proposed the potential cooperation between the Tech City and the Zhongguancun Science Park.

Mr Caojie, director of London & Partners Asia-Pacific Area, talked about the investment environment in London in terms of the market condition, business costs, human resources, financial environment, and growth opportunities. He focused on the development status, resource advantages and future planning in the Tech City. He also analyzed business opportunities after the London Olympic Games in 2012 and elaborated on the free business services provided to enterprises investing in London.

Participating enterprises had in-depth exchanges with English experts on problems encountered during the development of their international markets.
