Pan Haidong

Pan Haidong is the founder and CEO of Interactive Encyclopedia.

Pan Haidong is the founder and CEO of Interactive Encyclopedia. He served as chief information officer of AsiaEC and obtained a bachelor's degree from the Beijing University of Science and Technology, a master's degree from Tsinghua University and doctor's degree from Boston University.

He was a member of the ninth All-China Youth Federation and director of the Overseas Returned Intellectuals Association. In 2005, he established Interactive Online, a Wiki website.

In June 2005, Pan served as general manager of Interactive Online (Beijing) Technology Co Ltd, founded in the Zhongguancun International Incubation Park. He obtained 100,000 yuan ($15,850) for start-up assistance for his business from the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park.

In May 2006, Pan was selected into the AAMA Future Technology and Business Leader Cradle Program.

On March 20, 2009, Pan won the honorary title, "Person of Outstanding Contributions in Zhongguancun Science Park for two decades."

In September 2009, Pan became a partner of Draper Fisher Jurvetson Venture Capital.

In 2009, Pan was selected in the One Thousand Talents Plan of the central government. This is the first group of returned overseas high level talents program in Beijing city, and leading talent from the Zhongguancun Science Park.

In 2010, Pan was elected as a director of the Beijing Digital Science Promotion Association.
